HTC One M10 Release Date In March, Will Resemble HTC One A9

According to reports, the HTC One M10 will be launched in March 2016.  In the United States, the handset will be offered by the mobile carrier AT&T.

According to a BGR report, the HTC M10 will resemble HTC One A9 with regard to exterior design. Also, the new smartphone will feature a full-metal chassis and will be super slim.

Reports also suggest that the HTC One M10 may come as two variants. One of the variant will be powered by a MediaTek processor and the other will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. It is believed that the Qualcomm variant will arrive in the U.S.

The smartphone is expected to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with Sense 8.0 UI, 9to5Google reported.

Rumor has it that the HTC One M10 will carry an IP 68 rating for water-resistance. Other features of the rumored device include a 3,000mAh battery, a 23MP camera and a fingerprint scanner.

Rumors are also doing the rounds that the device has the codename Perfume.

For starters, HTC One A9 was released in October last year. The smartphone sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

It has 3GB of RAM and is powered by 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. The HTC One A9 has 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded through a microSD card. The device sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 4-Ultrapixel front camera for selfies.  

The HTC One A9 has a 2150mAh non removable battery and runs Android 6.0. The smartphone weighs 143 grams and measures 145.75 mm x 70.80 mm x 7.26 mm.

Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. Sensors on the handset include gyroscope, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.

Meanwhile, HTC has begun rolling out January Android security update for the HTC One A9 (unlocked version) in the US.  

According to HTC VP of Product Management Mo Versi, the update fixes 12 security loopholes. In the first week of January, the search giant Google rolled out the security update for the Nexus handsets.

Last month, the Taiwanese company seeded the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to the One M9 and One A9 (unlocked) handsets.

The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the One A9 smartphone brings the newest set of emojis from Unicode 8 and Unicode 7 and many bug fixes.
