Android 7.0 Nougat is now available for Samsung's latest gadgets Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Here are five quick steps to follow when updating.

According to Neowin, Rogers and Telus have now both commenced their Nougat rollouts to Samsung's 2016 flagships, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

The release is quite behind domestic rivals such as Bell, Freedom Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Eastlink, Wind Mobile, and Sasktel who all started rolling it out last week.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge that are available in the market come in two versions. The International and U.S. version runs on Samsung's Exynos while the other operates on Snapdragon 820.

How to install Android 7.0 Nougat update on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge

Users of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will soon receive a notification regarding the availability of the Nougat Update.

Just in case the update has not shown up, here's a quick guide to installing Android 7.0 Nougat from wccftech:

First, make sure that your device is charged up to more than 70 percent.

Secondly, USB drivers for the premium devices must be downloaded on your computer. Remember to backup the important files on your device.

Thirdly, go to Settings. Tap it for around five times to enable Developer Options.

Fourth, Press Menu, followed by Settings and Applications to enable USB debugging option. To ensure successful debugging, navigate and tap on Developer options.

Lastly, confirm your phone's model number by going to Settings. Scroll down to About Device or About Phone and tap on it.

Android 7.0 Nougat brings some capabilities for Galaxy loyalists, including a clean user experience, a new gesture-friendly camera set-up called Grace UX, pop-view mode, Doze mode, and a redesigned status bar with stackable notification.
