Bezel-less Display

The iPhone 8 will be special, so it has to look special also. According to Business Insider, the next Apple smartphone is likely to feature a full display at the front without bezels and even a physical home button. However, there is a debate over whether the display will be curved or flat.

MacBook Pro's Touch Bar

Other reports state that the revolutionary Touch Bar of the MacBook Pro 2016 will also make an appearance on the iPhone 8. This means that there will be two screens at the front, much like the LG V20.

Wireless Charging

MacWorld reported that the iPhone 8 might be the first Apple smartphone to feature wireless charging. The technology is still taking baby steps, but industry observers are looking forward to the Cupertino company's interpretation. But analysts say that the feature is unlikely to come out of the box and might require a separate accessory.

3D Front Camera

There have been talks recently of a 3D front camera system that will enable users to FaceTime and take selfies in 3D. It is still unknown how this would work, and some predictions state that there will be no time to finish the technology, but it would certainly be interesting if Apple manages to introduce it later this year.

Facial Recognition

Apart from a fingerprint sensor, users may soon be able to unlock their phones just by looking at it. A facial recognition software may be able to compete with the Galaxy S8's rumored iris scanner if the tech giant does it right. It may also work with the 3D front camera.

The iPhone 8 is still months away. The iPhone 7 itself is not even a half-year old, so fans still have a long way to go before they witness what Apple has been planning for the phone's 10th year anniversary.
