Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 to Cost $600 in the US, Specs Revealed

Samsung has not revealed much information about the Galaxy Tab S3 which was unveiled in February, but a Best Buy listing has leaked how much the Wi-Fi version would cost. It is the first time that the tablet's pricing in the U.S. has been revealed.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will come in Wi-Fi and LTE versions, but the Best Buy only showed the price of the former. According to the retailer's website, the device will have a price tag of $600 for 32GB internal storage in the United States. This is in line with its price in other countries.

The same Galaxy Tab S3 model is available for pre-order in Germany for €679, and in Canada for CAD 799.99, GSMArena reported. It will be launched on March 24 in the said countries. Over at the U.K., the tablet costs £600 and is slated to be released on April 7. The U.S. is still in the dark, however, as Best Buy only listed it as "coming soon." Those who wish to be updated on its availability can sign-up to be notified when it becomes available, according to Tech Times.

The Galaxy Tab S3 will compete with the smaller iPad Pro. Samsung's bet sports a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with HDR support. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip paired with 4GB of RAM.

As a tablet geared toward the working class, the Tab S3 comes with the S Pen stylus with a lot of capabilities and a technology called the Samsung Flow. It also encourages gaming as it also features Vulkan API for premium graphics and Game Launcher. A "Do Not Disturb" option allows users to play in peace.

Other features include a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras, 6,000 mAh battery, fast charging, and Android Nougat. More information about the Galaxy Tab S3's availability and LTE model pricing are expected in the coming days.
