Bandai Namco in partnership with ESL UK will be holding a new "Tekken 7" tournament in UK and Ireland ahead of its release in June. 

There will be qualifying tournaments each week which will take place in five major cities in UK and Ireland - Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester, Birmingham, and London.

Below are the qualifier dates. Information about signing up for the tournament can be found via Bandai Namco Europe's website here. The top three from each event will compete in the finals beginning on May 26 that will take place at the ESL Arena at MCM London Comic Con and the best "Tekken 7" player will be decided on May 28. 

April 15-16,  2017 - Glasgow

April 22, 2017  - Dublin

April 29, 2017 - Manchester

May 06, 2017 - Birmingham

May 13, 2017- London

Coming to Comic Con in May include Lou Ferrigno, Sam J. Jones, and Nichelle Nichols. Lou Ferrigno, the star of the iconic superhero show "The Incredible Hulk" back in '70s, will be making his appearance on the Saturday and Sunday during the event.

Sam J. Jones is the star of the 80's iconic superhero TV show "Flash Gordon." He got his big break in "Dudley Moore rom-com 10" and later, he took the role of the intergalactic hero Flash Gordon in the movie adaptation of the famous comic strip.

Nichelle Nichols is known for playing the character of Lieutenant Uhura on "Star Trek: The Original Series." She used to sing with the legendary jazzman Duke Ellington and danced on the silver screen with Sammy Davis Jr, and later joined the cast of Star Trek in 1966 as Communications Cfficer Nyota Uhura of USS Enterprise.

"Tekken 7" is scheduled for release on June 2 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is also set to join the game line-up for the EVO Championship in July.
