According to reports, the new OnePlus device will go with the Full-HD screen. Furthermore, several reports indicate that when the OnePlus 5 smartphone comes, it will compete with the Samsung Galaxy S8.

The OnePlus device is expected to sport a ceramic body with 4,000mAh battery together with an 8GB or a 6GB RAM. OnePlus 5 is rumored to have a 23-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

It is expected that the OnePlus device will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor, AndroidPIT reported. According to various reports, the upcoming smartphone will run Android 7.0 Nougat. OnePlus 5 could have a USB Type-C for connectivity.

It is said that the Chinese company will release another variant with 128GB internal storage that will be expandable to 256GB. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 821 chipset clocked at 2.35Ghz paired with 6GB RAM.

Speculations are also doing the rounds that OnePlus may bring a new black color model for the OnePlus 3T. OnePlus 3T has a metal unibody design and looks like OnePlus 3. The OnePlus smartphone has a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 401 ppi pixel density. Also, it has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

It is sure that Oneplus 4 release will be skipped due to the release of Oneplus 5 this year, according to Gizmoids. The reason for skipping the release of Oneplus 4 smartphone is not known. However, reports claim that Asian manufacturers skip a particular number of the edition on the basis of the number regarded as unlucky.
