Square Enix has again confirmed a new character for "Dragon Quest XI along with details of two new monsters, new systems and camping mechanics. This latest development has emerged after Senya and Veronica were announced a few days ago.  

In the most recent issue of Japanese magazine, Weekly Jump, the game developer has introduced Sylvia as another character to make an appearance in "Dragon Quest XI", Gematsu reported. Not only that, it has revealed two new monsters and some information pertaining to the camping system feature.

Sylvia is described as a character who looks to be a traveler and said to share a mission to bring smile to people of the world. Other than Sylvia, two new monsters have also been confirmed to make it to the game.

The first monster is called Mokokkii, which carries a huge needle that can "fill anything with holes". The other is Lantern Kozou that became a monster when dumped like garbage and out of rage against humans. Like some monsters, it only comes out at night time.  

"Dragon Quest XI" will also feature a new Camping System, where players can make a bonfire while taking on a long travel. Here, they can relish some conversation with their company aside from resting and healing as well as writing in the adventure log. "At camp, you can buy items at the shops opened by traveling merchants," the description reads.

A few days backs, the same magazine also confirmed two new characters, namely Senya and Veronica. Senya is a stunning woman who is seen in the opening movie wielding a lyre. Veronica, on the other hand, is defined as a strongly determined genius. In the video, fans saw her to let loose of her magic spells.  

Despite that Veronica's role seems vague at the moment, one can safely say that it will involve some spell casting. For Senya, she will be using her healing magic with her musical instrument.

"Dragon Quest XI" is currently in development for PS4, 3DS for a 2017 outing in Japan. It is also confirmed to hit Nintendo Switch in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy watching the latest opening movie for the game.
