343 Industries has released an update for "Halo Wars 2" to fix a range of issues on Windows 10 and Xbox One. However, it will take a couple of days for the update to arrive on PC platforms. 

The update with a size of 9.9 GB is described by the developer as "major patch," and it is expected to bring a lot of performance improvements and game stability. Here are some of the changes.

The update seems to address reported crashes and performance issues in "Halo Wars 2" such as the one where players could get stuck on the game's loading screen. There are "desync" fixes including one that occurred most of the time, and a Network Error has been fixed when a player is opening Blitz Packs.

The bug where players get a network error when they join a party was also fixed. An issue that disconnects players from multiplayer games at the start of the match has been addressed. Overall multiplayer performance enhancements are also mentioned in the patch notes as well as performance issues in Cooperative Campaign were addressed.

Performance hits issues on AI in Skirmish were fixed, and the Campaign mission where players get stuck after loading a save was addressed. The performance issues on PC are included in the notes, such as performance enhancements on various hardware and a driver check on PC is added to alert users to the existence of old drivers.

Also, there are fixes for PC players who encounter a black screen on the game's startup, as well as the PC crashes that were hardware-dependent are both addressed. There were also fixes made to the gameplay of "Halo Wars 2," such as bugs with Kodiaks in Campaign and some adjustments were made to Scarab creation.

The issue with 'Detect' on some starting units that are not working properly and the issue in getting Palmer's Pure Gold Achievement were both addressed. Here is the link to the long list of the changes via the game's official website.
