LG G6 features a "Full Vision" 5.7-inch screen that supports Quad HD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9. Its battery life test has result that the smartphone delivers mediocre battery performance.

Usually, the screen is one of the features of the smartphone that consumes a lot of battery power. The LG G5 from 2016 features a 5.3-inch screen and 2,800 mAh replaceable battery. Apart from its modular concept, it was also criticized for its dismal battery life.

The LG G4 from 2014 has a 5.5-inch Quad HD scree and 3,000 mAh removable battery. Since the LG G6 is equipped with an innovative display, Phone Arena carried out a battery life test to check its performance of its 3,300 mAh non-removable battery. The LG G6's battery is equipped with an advanced heat pipe that prevents it from overheating, 9to5 Google reported.

The publication revealed that the average battery life of LG G5 is 6 hours and 6 minutes and that of LG G5 is 5 hours and 51 minutes. The newly launched LG G6 delivers a mediocre average battery performance of 5 hours and 54 minutes. Even though it packs a larger battery than the LG G5, its battery does not longer performance.

With moderate use, the LG G6 can last through the day, but capturing photos and videos with its dual camera and playing games may result in recharging it before the end of the day. Last year's smartphones such as iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, LG V20, OnePlus 3T and Google Pixel outperforms this LG G6 in average battery performance.

As far as charging time is concerned, the LG G6 with Quick Charge 3.0 takes 109 minutes to fully charge its battery. The LG G5's smaller battery could be charged to its brim in 76 minutes. The LG G4 takes 127 minutes to charge its 3,000 mAh battery. It charges faster than iPhone 7 and Google Pixel. The LG V20's 3,200 mAh battery can be full charged in 86 minutes.
