Doing the child's homework in "The Sims 4" takes at least an hour and half of game time but by having one of the parents to assist him, the game time is being cut in half. 

Raising a virtual child in "The Sims 4" could be as challenging as raising one in reality. One of the most common challenges is to make sure that they are doing well in school, and especially, doing their homework well. Here are some tips and tricks to make those virtual children in the game high achievers in their virtual school.

Homework in "The Sims 4" is one of the key points for the child Sim to achieve an A in school. Moreover, Carl's Sims 4 Guide Community point out that homework is somehow a career for the child that takes about 90 minutes of game time to accomplish.

Once a certain skill reaches level 10, the Sim receives a 70 percent increase to the rate where they complete the homework.

Aside from having the childhood skills maxed out to shoot up the child's homework productivity, "The Sims 4" players can, in fact, have their adult Sims join in the child's development. Simmers can just click the child who is about to start doing the homework, and one of his parents will come to assist him.

With that being said, the game time is reduced in half. Also, if it is combined with other bonuses from maxing out those childhood skills, the child Sim can be expected to accomplish the homework at an even faster pace. Additionally, adults in "The Sims 4" can help their children as well with the extra credit work which they have unlocked after their usual homework has been completed with a B grade.
