The latest details for "Destiny 2" for will feature new Guardians and Sub-classes, as well as possible November launch date of the sequel.

Bungie announced new details for "Destiny 2" last week as the game developer stated that the gamers who have played the the first "Destiny" game will not have their progress transferred into the sequel. Bungie explained that that purpose of a sequel is to "represent a new adventure for every player", meaning new stories and worlds are explored.

This also means that every progress the players made in "Destiny" will not be carried over on "Destiny 2", from their current level cap, items to weapons, loots etc.

However, Bungie plans to preserve character personalization of player Guardians in "Destiny 2". This means class, race, gender, face, hair, and marking selections for "Destiny" characters. which have completed the "Black Garden" story mission and are at level 20 and above will carry over into "Destiny 2".

The publication added that all power, possessions, Eververse-related items and currency will still remain accessible to players in the first "Destiny" game, but the "best path forward" will be to not include them in "Destiny 2", which will allow them to create new ideas, advancements and improvements from the previous game.

More details will be shared later this year, but Bungie pretty much confirmed through various teases we would hear more information on "Destiny 2" at some point this month and in the following months, VG 24/7 reported.

Meanwhile, gaming fans will expect new Guardians and Sub-classes in "Destiny 2" soon as as several gaming fans in the Destiny subreddit page are proposing a deeper, more RPG-focused class system that really makes each character feel unique. Having one subclass means more customization options.

Other gamers requested for more background on "Destiny’s" three elemental types: Solar, Arc, and Void in "Destiny 2". They wanted Bungie to change how elements work at a fundamental level in "Destiny 2" to which their only use in the first game is to either take out an enemy’s shield of the same-element, or be abused during burn modifiers.

Previous reports teased "Destiny 2" will feature a cinematic styled storyline and its plot was teased in the Mega Blok play set, were in a Cabal invasion will happen in the tower that was never featured in the first game.

Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg stated that one of the problems from "Destiny" is the lack of thrill and interest in the game. "Destiny‘s" story was gutted and rewritten in its last year of development, which led to a disconnected and jumbled mess of characters, story missions, and lore for fans to try to piece together.

It is also rumored that "Destiny 2" could be named "Destiny 2: Forge of Hope" and could launch between Nov. 4 to Nov. 18.

"Destiny 2" will launch in the late 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
