Bungie is heading to an all new-era of Destiny as "Destiny 2" arrives with unexpected changes. When the franchise began, it was revealed that the following series would all play a role in the creation of its final game. That means everything that players have worked for will affect their game and the future of its character. That seems to have changed when "Destiny 2" arrived.

According to the latest news, Bungie revealed that because they want a fair game among the players of "Destiny 2," they decided not to incorporate the players "Destiny 1" progression to the new game. That means hardcore gamers and those who worked for years to build their Destiny empire will have to start from the scratch and work their way up in "Destiny 2."

But not everything is lost here as Bungie said that players of Destiny who have reached level 20 and completed the Black Garden Story Mission would be able to import their characters in "Destiny 2." A statement from Bungie said, "Specifically, the class, race, gender, face, hair, and marking selections for all characters that have achieved Level 20 and completed the Black Garden story mission will carry forward." Unfortunately, aside from the character, everything else must be left behind including weapons, armor, points and more. The developer also revealed that the player's progress in the first game will remain intact, but can only be viewed on the other platform.

iSportsTimes also mentioned how a player's progress can still be viewed in the old game, but not as part of "Destiny 2." Bungie apparently wants old players to enjoy the game on the same level as new players.
