A detailed observation of the Nintendo Switch's Joy-Con revealed several changes in performance depending on the distance and where device is pointing to. Also, a clear problem when an obstruction is apparent causes heavy drops or complete failure of performance. The test on the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con ranged from one meter to six meters, and the left side faces significant problems.

This issue along with other minor ones prompted Nintendo to release their official statement and advice on the matter. The importance of updating the device will help avoid the problem. A properly charged Joy-Con is also advisable to get the maximum gaming experience in the Nintendo Switch.

For the location of the Nintendo Switch, the company advises users to avoid places like behind a TV, near an aquarium, under a metal object, pressed against a large amount of wires and cords and within three to four feet of another wireless device (access point or speakers). Meanwhile, some of the most notable interferences that may affect the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con connectivity include laptops, wireless headphones, wireless printers, cordless phones and even microwaves.
