Internet is abuzz with leaks, plotlines, spoilers to Season 2 of “Attack on Titan” series, which is expected to air in February.

"Attack on Titan" nears February release. Aside from its canon storyline, gamers will also have access to filler storylines by no less than Hajime Isayama, the creator.

The main storyline will revolve around the manga's first season. Even if a player has not watched or read the series, the game will provide new players with the game's overview. For most of the game's part, it will allow gamers to get into fight in its free environment and a lot like the events of the anime, players are required to kill the giant through striking its neck. Also, giants can be crippled through injuring their ankle tendons, thereby, immobilizing it.

Leading teams and ordering troops can also be done, as well as mid-level events and secret missions. When the game is completed, missions can also be repeated, Gematsu reported.

"Attack on Titan" will feature 10 characters also. They are Erwin, Levi, Connie, Krista, Mikasa, Hanji, Jean, Sasha, Armin, and Eren.

Hisashi Koinuma the game producer and Tomoyuki Kitamura the director were interviewed by Famitsu. Both of them said that this game is definitely not another battle game.

"The part that we ought to focus more on is about 'how to make it feel good while flying around using the 3D Maneuver Gear' and we've redone this system numerous times," said Koinuma.

Kitamura, on the other hand, commented about the possible strategies of defeating titans. According to him, "There are high risks if you try to immediately go for the back of their necks, so it'll be an effective tactic to start out by destroying their limbs. Although, I don't think it'd be impossible to have those who are used to action games be able to take them out in one blow."

"Attack on Titan" is set for release in Europe, North America, and Japan in February.
