'For Honor' Update: Elimination, Skirmish Modes to Have Seperate Playlist; Changes for Valkyrie, Shugoki, Orochi, Berserker, Warlord Revealed in Latest Patch!

New "For Honor" updates will feature a separate playlist for Elimination and Skirmish modes and fighter changes in latest game patch.

Ubisoft announced that Elimination and Skirmish modes in "For Honor" will have their own separate playlist. Players will have the option to set a preference within each playlist before matchmaking starts, but it does not guarantee that they will be thrown into "For Honor" playing at their own terms.

This led to Ubisoft planning to have a separate playlist for Elimination and Skirmish Modes in "For Honor". while both game modes offer death-match styled gameplay, the difference is that Elimination Mode does not allow players to respawn when killed.

It became a source of outcry for gamers playing "For Honor" who do not like the feature in Elimination Mode. There is also complaints regarding the map voting screen in "For Honor", were in it did not always highlight which of the two modes player were voting for.

The playlist breakout was a response to these complaints made by gamers in "For Honor". Community manager Eric Pope stated that thanks to the game’s healthy player numbers, this change was easy to make, but gamers will not expect that "For Honor" will be the same as before, VG 24/7 reported.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft launched patch 1.03 in "For Honor", which featured changes to certain fighters from the Viking, Samurai and Knight factions.

For the Vikings, Berserkers will no longer plagued by bugs with their area of effect ground Feats not working if the player stopped moving. The Berserker's Stun Trap Feats will apply damage effects properly and the "Rush" bug has been fixed. Berserker's Light Attacks and chained Light Attacks recoveries on Block reduced from 900 ms to 700 ms.

The Valkyrie's Blood Lust Feat can now be triggered on all types of kills and its "Rush" bug has been fixed. The Valkyrie in combat will be faster than before, thus increasing it damage can link into Light Chaining faster. Shield Crush can now be chained into Light Chain. The Warlord's "Rush" bug has been fixed in the game.

For the Samurai, the bug on the Shugoki that causes them to lose "Hard To Kill Feats" has been fixed. The Orochi's Nail Bomb can now apply damage effects correctly to characters who trigger the trap, but stop moving towards the trap, as it was intended. The Orochi's "Riptide Strike" has been increased.

For the Knights, the Peacekeeper had some improvements during its beta, which caused numerous bugs and unintended changes. One of these in an improvement on the Guardbreak and Bleed stacking, increased range on the stab attack and can now connect a Light Attack after a parry, Gamespot reported.

"For Honor" is currently available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
