The Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 have been recently announced by HMD Global in the Mobile World Congress 2017 to run on Android Nougat with future regular updates later on. Both joins the Nokia 6 smartphone, which was previously announced in China and will also be available soon globally.

The Nokia 3 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and the Nokia 5 on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. Both will feature an unlimited cloud storage on Google Photos app. They will come with the single SIM and dual SIM variants that vary depending on the country.

The Nokia 3 has a 5-inch high-definition IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, display flash, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection from scratches and future drops. It also has a polycarbonate body with aluminium frame.

The Nokia 3 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz. It comes with a 2GB of RAM in a 16GB of internal storage that extends up to 128GB via a microSD card. It features the 8-megapixel front and rear autofocus cameras.

The Nokia 3 supports 4G LTE and LTE Cat. 4 speeds. It is packed with a 2650 mAh battery and measures 143.4 x 71.4 x 8.4 mm in dimension. It will be available in matte black, silver white, copper white, and tempered blue.

The Nokia 5, on the other hand, has a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass cover. It also has a seamless metal body with a distinctly fingerprint scanner embedded on the physical home button.

The Nokia 5 comes with a 2GB of RAM in a 16GB of built-in storage that expands up to a maximum of 128GB via a microSD card. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset and supports LTE Cat. 4 download speeds.

The Nokia 5 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual tone flash and phase detection autofocus accompanied with an 8-megapixel front autofocus camera with 84-degree field-of-view lens. It measures 149.7 x 72.5 x 8.05 mm in dimension and will be available in silver, copper, tempered blue, and matte black color variants.

The Nokia 3 is priced at $146.94 (around Rs. 9800 or EUR 139) and the Nokia 5 at $202.41 (approximately Rs. 13,500 or EUR 189). They are heading to the global markets.
