Nintendo has announced that the indie game "Snipperclips" will be available as a launch title for its upcoming Nintendo Switch console.

"Snipperclips" is an upcoming puzzle game being developed by SFB Games and published by Nintendo for release on the Nintendo Switch on March 3, 2017. The game makes use of a snipping mechanic to allow players to cooperate and solve shape-based puzzles. "Snipperclips" is a co-operative puzzle game for up to four players. Players control characters named Snip and Clip, who each possess bodies that can be rotated in place.

The "Snipperclips" puzzle game lets one to four players cut paper characters into new shapes to solve dynamic puzzles and play activities. No price was announced yet, but Nintendo says the game will be available for download on the eShop for $19.99 USD (approximately $26.19 CAD).

According to GameRant, the puzzles of the game will require players to snip themselves into certain shapes to solve puzzles and complete levels. The game features single-player, co-op, and competitive game modes. "Snipperclips" is being developed by SFB Games, a studio which has primarily focused on games for mobile devices - so in a way, the Nintendo Switch is a fitting way to the studio to make its entrance to the current generation of consoles.
