"Air Force One" is the US President's official plane that will transport him and his whole team, whenever he travels within the US or when he is traveling to another country. This plane is a 747 jet plane equipped with equipment and facilities that makes it a Command Center for the US President.

Recently, when the new US President Donald Trump assumed into office, he questioned the :Air Force One" program. The expenses to refurbished and upgrade the presidential plane will cost the US a huge amount of $3.73 billion. Hence, there is a call for the review of the program and find an option that will be less expensive, yet able to replace the 747's capabilities.

If the 747 is changed to smaller 737, this will generate more savings. There is also a proposal to use a B-21 Raider, which is a long-range bomber aircraft being developed by Northrop Grumman. The sharp, angular design of the B-21 provides an enhance feature on invisibility to radar detection. Additionally, it possesses unrivaled shielding against conventional and electronic attacks, according to LiveScience.

 In a report by Whitehouse, "Air Force One" has state of the art features to include its capability of refueling midair. The plane has unlimited range with onboard electronics hardened to protect against an electromagnetic pulse, advanced secure communications equipment, allowing the aircraft to function as a mobile command center in the event of an attack on the United States.
