Back in November 2015, "Fallout 4" gained positive reviews. Since then, Bethesda's post-apocalyptic RPG has been a remarkable success, becoming the most successful game in the publisher's history. At its E3 2016 media event, Bethesda announced that it is working on a virtual reality version of "Fallout 4" and showed a limited experimental demo which illustrated the potential of the idea.

Todd Howard, Bethesda's director, and executive producer said in its interview with Glixel last November that the core experience, bit by bit will be as cool as you hope it would be. In the latest interview, Howard confirmed that the forthcoming Fallout 4 VR title will indeed compromise of the whole game and HTC Vive viewers can play from start to finish.

"There are a lot of indie developers and students that are working on prototypes and thinking about how to move in VR and so we're looking at a lot of those, " Howard says. "It's going great. It's definitely the right game for us to do."

There's a lot to look forward to from Bethesda Game Studios in 2017, with Fallout 4 VR, a mysterious mobile game in the works, and a new game from Wolfenstein developer MachineGames. Perhaps we will hear something prior to Bethesda's E3 2017 press conference, the studio will probably reveal new details pertaining to its various in-development projects. Fallout 4 VR is scheduled for release in 2017 for the HTC Vive.
