Xiaomi's next flagship, Mi 6, set to be launched some time this year wil lbe packed with incredible and competitive features, if the latest leaked details are to be believed. Some information has also emerged, which points to the release of the budget friendly variant of Xiaomi Mi 5, the Mi 5c.

The most recent leaks on Xiaomi Mi 6 is courtesy of a Chinese leaker who shared the details online. On the other hand, a live image for Xiaomi Mi 5c has spread over the internet.

Based on the post made by the Chinese tipster via Weibo, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will arrive in not just one but two variants. First variant has 4GB RAM and 32 GB storage and full-HD screen resolution. The second version is a high-end Xioami Mi 6 that has WQHD screen resolution with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. But on top of that, it will boast a dual-edge curve screen with a ceramic body design.

Moreover, Xiaomi Mi 6 will feature Sony IMX386 sensor at 12-megapixel rear camera while it will have an 8MP front snapper, which is the feature seen on the Mi Note 2. Earlier leaks suggest that the high-end version will be called the Mi 6 Pro.

In related news, the Chinese phone maker is reportedly working on a new Mi 5 variant known as the Mi 5c smartphone. Following the Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus variants, Mi 5c serves as third variant of the Xiaomi Mi 5 line.

The live image of this variant shows that the handset won't have a physical home button. Thus, the phone might have its own on-screen navigation keys with a fingerprint scanner placed at the back of the gadget. This purported image was also posted on Weibo and first spotted YouTube user Gadget View.

Additionally, the cheaper Xiaomi Mi 5c will be packed with Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM with in-built 64GB storage plus a 12-mp back camera and 8-mp front camera. It is claimed to have 3200mAh battery with MIUI 8 OS. 

Xiaomi has not made an official announcement pertaining to the release of Xiaomi Mi6 and Xiaomi Mi 5c this year. Tech enthusiasts are advised to take these leaks with a grain of salt until such details are confirmed by the company.
