Microsoft has been consistent in giving away titles on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list. Nevertheless, there are days when they seem to have zero entry on the feature followed by a much rather appreciated title at the end of the week. Today, we give a you recap of the titles released this 2017 and some predictions on what to expect in the coming months.

For January, the titles that arrived on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature include "Alice Madness Returns" from EA, "Battlefield 3" (disc only) also from EA as well as "Battlefield: Bad Co. 2." Meanwhile, Konami's "Beat'n Groovy" also joins the BC Feature for January and "Stuntman: Ignition" from THQ. "Strania" as well as "Shadows of the Damned" also joined the Xbox One backwards compatibility in January.

There are over 300 game titles in the Xbox One backwards compatibility list and joining the list are "Scrap Metal" from Microsoft Studios and "Rocket Knight;" another one from Konami. "Tekken 6" and "The Splatters" were also present in the BC feature, but the latest that amazed fans is the arrival of "Grand Theft Auto IV" in the backwards compatible feature.

"Red Dead Redemption" remains to be one of the greatest games that arrived on the feature, but fans are still waiting for the eventual inclusion of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." Other titles in the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature include "The Bioshock Trilogy" and "Mass Effect Trilogy."

A player who previously owned the games on the Xbox 360 are not required to purchase the games again. Also, Xbox 360 game saves, achievements, gamerscores and game add ons are carried out to the Xbox One console when players launch the game for the first time. Interestingly, the Xbox One backwards compatibility titles are not limited to digital copies, but also on disc base games.
