‘Overwatch’ Update: Blizzard Discusses The Prospect Of A Prime Social Feature

Blizzard acknowledges a prime social feature for "Overwatch" that they might be eventually working on. Simultaneously, a new update is said to fix one of the game's biggest problems.

Fortunately, Jeff Kaplan, the game's director, have responded to the ongoing request. As per PVP Live, he claimed that the team would be excited to work on a similar system; however, though he might have just hinted at the idea, he just placed great emphasis on their excitement to work on the specific feature.

As of now, players can merely use their friend list to form groups before starting a game. If Blizzard plans to realize the said feature, then this would be another step in the right direction of making use of clans or guilds, just like on other games such as "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive," "StarCraft II," and "Call of Duty." More so, it would surely help solo queue players find others to create a powerhouse team before even playing competitive matches.

Latest Patch Ceases Cheaters and Assures Fair Play

Express claims that a new patch has tackled the problem relating to the mass wave of cheaters and hackers. Starting in Feb. 17, players who have a valid game license are the only ones who can access the game. This means that those Korean players who depend on third-party programs to cheat in "Overwatch" can't use this method anymore.

Blizzard has confirmed that they will be introducing the new feature to "Overwatch" before applying it to other games such as "Diablo III" and "StarCraft II." Additionally, they claimed that this said method will help players enjoy the game without anything to worry about specifically those "unintended side-effects." These adjustments are said to keep the "integrity" of their game as well as assures players of a fair-play experience.
