It's halfway through February and Microsoft has just released its Xbox One Games with Gold for March. More than the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature, Games with Gold delivers an equally interesting feature on the Xbox platform. They are free to all Xbox Live Gold members and it usually sums up a total of $700 worth of games per year. Offered games are all playable on the Xbox One console.

For March, the Xbox One Games with Gold include "Project Cars Digital Edition" available from February 16 - March 15. Meanwhile, the remaining of February still entitles Live Gold Members to grab the "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime" available from February 1-28 on Xbox One and "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" available from February 16-28 on Xbox 360 & Xbox One.

Aside from the Xbox One Games with Gold for March, fans can expect Microsoft's Xbox One backwards compatibility list to be updated. Here, fans are able to play Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One console, provided they previously owned it on the Xbox 360. Games will automatically appear on the Xbox One store and will be ready for download. Otherwise, players will need to buy the game and manually download it on the Xbox One.

Last week, along with the release of the Xbox One Games with Gold for March came new titles for the Xbox One backwards compatibility list. The latest titles include "Hitman: Absolution" and "Grand Theft Auto IV." Previous titles include "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion," "The BioShock Trilogy," "The Mass Effect Trilogy" and many more. Unfortunately for the much awaited "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2," it is still unavailable on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list.
