K-tronix accidentally uploaded promotional images of the yet-to-be-unveiled smartphone. A Reddit user named /u/egomallow took some screenshots just before the page got taken down.

Based on the leaked images, the Moto G5 Plus sports a high-grade aluminum finish with a chrome border on the sides and around the rear camera. This distinguishes the G5 Plus from the G5, which has no chrome lining aside from the difference in screen size.

The Moto G5 Plus comes with a 5.2" full high definition display with 1080p resolution covered with a scratchproof Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A fingerprint sensor is embedded in the physical home button below the display of the smartphone. The device sports a 12 megapixels rear-facing camera which features Dual Autofocus Pixels and a wide-angled five megapixels front camera.

The Moto G5 Plus is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2.0 GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. The device has an internal storage of 64GB but is expandable through microSD card up to 128GB. The G5 Plus is capable of housing two sim cards, both with 4G LTE connectivity.

The device runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box and is powered by a 3000 mAh battery featuring fast charging with the included TurboPower charger which is said to provide up to six hours battery life per 15 minutes of charge.

Other features of the smartphone include NFC capability, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient Light, Proximity, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 connectivity. The G5 Plus also has nano-coating3 which makes the device splash resistant.

There is no information on its pricing yet, but Lenovo is bound to launch the Moto G5 and the G5 Plus shortly after the MWC 2017.
