"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game begins within the Milky Way Galaxy during the 22nd century, where humanity is planning to populate new home worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy as part of a strategy called the Andromeda Initiative.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" fans aren't given the name of the role in which Nanjiani is supposed to play, nor does the clip confirm exactly what type of alien race the Pakistani-American actor will depict beyond "space frog". However, it's quite possible for the comedian to be playing a salarian, which is a warm-blooded amphibian native to the planet Sur'Kesh.

According to some reports, Nanjiani could be of an entirely new race of alien beings that looks more frog-like than even the Salarians. He could also be a Drell. They're rather reptilianm, but lizards are sort of like frogs?

Beyond the confirmation of Kumail Nanjiani doing the voice work for one of Mass Effect: Andromeda's characters, not much else has been confirmed by BioWare concerning the matter. With this being the case, fans will surely want to know sooner rather than later whether or not the actor and comedian's role will play a large or small part in the game's story, or if the character can be selected as a companion.
