There are rumors that the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will have Force Touch and solar power technology.

The much speculated device from Apple, the MacBook Pro 2016 is most likely to be release this year. Even though the laptop line from Apple was updated only last year, the Cupertino-based company is rumored to leave no stone unturned this year with its devices.

According to the latest rumors, the MacBook Pro 2016 will have a 13-inch model. The 15-inch model is also speculated to be released along with the 13-inch variant.There are rumors that a Skylake processor will power the device as well.

The device is expected to house a powerful 16 GB of RAM along with dual GPU. There is also a strong rumor regarding the device being solar powered. The up and coming MacBook Pro 2016 might also come with the energy saving mode. There is also a speculation of the Force Touch technology to be incorporated in this device.

Both the variants of MacBook Pro 2016 are expected to be equipped with a Sky Lake processor. The variants are further speculated to be powered with the OS X EI Captain. It is also rumored that the Cupertino based tech giant is currently working on incorporating a better battery life for MacBook Pro 2016.

The device is also rumored to feature the USB Type C connection port along with Retina Display screen, according to BGR. The price range of these variants is yet to be disclosed. Apple is yet to comment on any of these rumors.

The launch of this device might take place sometime during the first quarter of this year. Apple is rumored to announce it during the touted event, which is scheduled in March.

Dubbed as "Spring Forward," this is the same event in which Apple is expected to launch the Apple Watch 2, iPhone 6C, and the iPad Air 3. However, on the other hand, it is also a huge possibility that it may instead be launched in June at the WWDC, according to Mac Rumors.

Apple is expected to hold its Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, California, from June 13 to 17, where it is rumored that they may launch the much anticipated Apple MacBook Pro 2016, according to BGR.
