The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an action-RPG video game developed by CD Projekt RED for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Platform.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will feature an impressive storyline for "Blood and Wine" that will rival the game's main story, as well as Vilgefortz rumored to be the main antagnist of the DLC.

CD Projekt RED is currently working on the second expansion DLC for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" titled "Blood and Wine" and it will feature Geralt going to the mysterious kingdom of Touissant, a region that is not ravaged by war and conflict, but behind its peaceful rule lies a dark and terrible secret. The video game publiser told Eurogamer that "Blood and Wine" will have a better storyline than the game's main story as the size of the second expansion will be bigger than the previous DLC, "Hearts of Stone".

However, CD Projekt RED's Marketing Lead Michal Platkow-Gilewski clarified that the storyline for "Blood and Wine" will only be "more refined" than "Hearts of Stone" stating that all of "The Witcher 3's" features including the ten updates it received enriches the overall experience that the gamers enjoyed in playing the game, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.

"Blood and Wine" DLC will feature new monsters for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" such as Bruxas, Manticores and Stringas, as well as old and new characters that were introduced in the novel books of "The Witcher" franchises like Fringello Vigo, her cousin and the Dutchess of Touissant Anna Henriatta and the evil sorcerer Vilgefortz.

CD Projekt RED explained that they needed to have a more complex storyline for "Blood and Wine" and a memorable and charismatic main villain in the game as the developers felt that they did not deliver such as villain and would love to repeat the same process that was used in "Hearts of Stone".

Perhaps Vilgerfortz could feel in the needed gap for "Blood and Wine" since the novel depicted him as a dangerous foe for Geralt and Yennefer.

"Blood and Wine" will have atleast 20 hours of gameplay and it rumored to launch on the first quarter this year around January to June. It will also introduce a new modkit for gamers who liked to create mods in the PC.

The second expansion will also conclude Geralt's tale in "The Witcher 3" Wild Hunt" as CD Projekt RED will focus on developing their latest project, "Cyberpunk 2077.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently available in stores for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
