Save Mordin or Cure the Genophage:

The death of a fan favorite scientist named Mordin Solus, was surely a notable moment in the series. The death comes upon in "Mass Effect 3" when he attempts to sacrifice himself to administer the Genophage cure, which would help save the Krogan species from extinction. However, players are given the option to stop Mordin from releasing the cure by either pursuing him through conversation or by shooting him. Basically, it all comes down to saving Mordin or letting the whole species go extinct.

Save the Council or Flight Sovereign:

At the end of the original Mass Effect game, players are engaged with a choice that will result over the course of the trilogy when the Reaper Sovereign attacks the Citadel. While in battle, the Council gets surrounded by Destiny Ascension and Commander Shepherd has the option to either save the Council or focus on destroying the Sovereign.

Kill the Rachni Queen or Save Her Species from Extinction:

In Noveria in the first Mass Effect game, players come across the Rachni Queen that is said to be the last of her species. The Rachni Queen begs for Commander Shepherd to spare her life and promise to live peacefully along with her children. Players now has the option to either kill the Rachni Queen and prevent a serious threat or trust the Rachni Queen and take the risk of a possible return.

Save the Normandy Crew or Save the Squad:

At the end of Mass Effect 2, a surprise attack will be commenced by the Collectors on the Normandy with most of its crew are abducted. Players will have the option to save the crew of Normandy with an expense of some of their squad members or hold off the attack which will cause death to some members of the Normandy crew.

Sacrifice Ashley or Kaiden:

One of the hardest choices in the entire series is from the original Mass Effect game where players will choose who to save between Ashley Williams or Kaiden Alenko. Commander Shepherd"s choice will be haunting him throughout the original trilogy with guilt.

Selecting Members from the Squad for the Suicide Mission:

In Mass Effect 2, there is a suicide mission where you will force to quickly choose members from the squad for an assigned task. Depending on who is chosen and if players have successfully done their loyalty mission, it can result in them or some squad members in death.

Choosing an Ending:

In Mass Effect 3, endings are infamous for the comebacks they receive from fans. In spite of this, it"s still hard to choose between the game"s different and possible endings as each choice available will lead a tremendous impact on the player"s characters over the course of the three games.

With the release of the new game just a few months away, players will not wait any longer on what BioWare will have in store for them. To see if the they can top the challenging choices that players encountered before in the series.
