The "Cassini Spacecraft" of NASA took photos of Saturn's moon and it looks like the "Death Star" from Star Wars. This moon that has been captured is named Tethys.

According to a report in Tucson News Now, the Tethys is 660 miles across and it has a crater which is called Odysseus. This crater had been cause of an impact years ago. This has been the reason why the moon looks like Star Wars' "Death Star."

It is indicated in the report that the impact towards Tethys has created a crater and its rebound also caused the mountainous peak. This peak has been called the Scheria Montes which has been, formed at the center of the crater.

Tethys is one of the 62 moons found in Saturn. The "Cassini Spacecraft" on the other hand has been launched in 1997 and will end its mission later this year. The spacecraft is set to plunge into Saturn's atmosphere.

In a report from Space.com, the "Cassini Spacecraft" is known to capture the most extraordinary images of Saturn. In fact a new image of Saturn which has been captured in October 2016 has just been revealed this January 16, 2017. It captures a wide angle of the planet.

Additionally this "Cassini Spacecraft" has been in a mission for several years. It will intentionally be crashed towards Saturn by September in order to prevent contamination. By that time, its mission will finally end.

Meanwhile, the "Cassini's" mission, to Saturn has been a collaboration project of NASA with the European space Agency and the Italian Space Agency. In 2004 the probe arrived and t has been named after the Italian astronomer Giovanni Cassini.

Aside from "Cassini's" mission to study Saturn it also carries the ESA's Huygen's probe. This probe has landed on the largest moon of Saturn in 2005 named Titan.
