Apple has released the beta seed for the iOS 10.3 for developers to start testing. The new update is said to feature an updated version of "Find my Airpods" and will also have a Theatre Mode.

The iOS 10.3 is the third major upgrade of the iOS 10 operating system for iPads and iPhones. The update is currently available only for registered developers and may be downloaded via Apple Development Center or the Internet using a specific configuration profile.

As usual, the update will fix bugs, including performance developments and added features, and also bring the rumoured Theatre Mode. It introduces a popcorn-shaped icon in the Control Center. What the mode does is still unknown. However, it is possible that this may come handy with a virtual or augmented reality feature.

Among the much-awaited update would be the "Find my Airpods" feature. The jackless iPhone 7 is intended to work with Airpods - a wireless pair of earpiece with state-of-the-art Apple technology. The only problem its vulnerability to being lost or misplaced. The new feature in the iOS 10.3 could be a solution to that problem.

Aside from those two big features that Apple users can look forward to using, there are also other updates. For those who want a hassle-less bill payment method, SiriKit can be used for that purpose.

Hourly forecasts can also be seen as the Maps app, and 3D Touch can keep a tab on the weather. Carplay has shortcuts for recently used apps, and Homekit can be used to program light switches.

The iOS 10 was released in September, and since then it has undergone several updates. The iOS 10.2 was just more than a month in existence when the iOS 10.3 was rolled out for beta testing. Users can expect the latest update to be released to the public soon.
