Huawei P8 Lite (2017) Smartphone Could be Launched This Month

Huawei has announced that its latest smartphone will be available in some European markets soon. The upcoming smartphone is codenamed P8 Lite (2017).

The name of the smartphone is bizarre considering it is the successor to the P9 Lite. 

Huawei recently unveiled the P8 Lite, a revised model of the P9 Lite, which was released two years ago. Some of the specifications of Huawei's upcoming smartphone include a 5.2-inch IPS display, a shiny and flashy body, and a resolution of 1080p.

According to GSM Arena, Huawei's upcoming smartphone will be powered by the Kirin 655 chip. It will also come with an octa-core A53 processor and the Mali-T830MP2 GPU. The device is expected to come with 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and microSD card support.

The Huawei P8 Lite smartphone will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. IT could sport a 12 megapixels main camera with f/2.0 aperture and an eight megapixels front camera. The smartphone would have a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery.

Digital Trends reported that the new P8 Lite (2017) would be released in some European countries. The release date of the device has not been specified, but it is expected to be by the end of January. The device is expected to cost $254.
