The Lenovo P2 smartphone is set to be released in India exclusively via Flipkart on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

The Lenovo P2 is an addition to the P series from the Chinese mobile company Lenovo. It has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a pixel density of 401 ppi, 2.5D curved screen, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Lenovo P2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz and coupled with Adreno 506 graphics processing unit. It comes in two storage variants: one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and another with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in memory that can be further expanded up to a maximum of 200GB via a microSD card slot.

The Lenovo P2 features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The rear camera can also record full high-definition videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. Other camera features include the autofocus and geotagging.

The Lenovo P2 runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box, and it is likely to get updated to Nougat. It comes with sensors such as a proximity sensor and accelerometer.

The Lenovo P2 is packed with a 5100 mAh battery, which supports 24W quick charge. It is equipped with a fingerprint scanner that can also enhance security.

The Lenovo P2 is a dual-SIM variant that supports 4G VoLTE. Other connectivity options are Wi-Fi hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0 LE, EDGE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n.

The Lenovo P2 measures 153 x 76 x 8.2 mm in dimension with a weight of 177 grams. It will come in champagne gold and graphite gray color.
