Apple fans will have to wait a little longer for the Beats X Earbuds to arrive.

The music device was first disclosed during an iPhone event in September and was originally set to arrive in the Fall of 2016. However, reseller B&H Photo said in an email that the earphones will be shipped later than expected and "will take at least 2-3 months."

According to The Verge, the reseller is a credible source and an authorized reseller of the brand. There is a confirmation of the delay on Apple's web listing, but a particular date of release was not mentioned.

The $149 earphones carry an Apple W1 chip that work with other iOS devices. It is also described as quick charging with "2 hours of playback after just 5 minutes of charging and up to 8 hours after just 45 minutes of charging."

This is not the first time that the arrival of an Apple music accessory has been postponed. In fact, the date for the release of the wireless AirPods in the market was unknown until Apple released an announcement that the product is now ready to be ordered.

Meanwhile, Apple is offering a price drop on Beats products Beats Pill + Speaker and Beats EP On-Ear Headphones. The Beats headphones only cost $100 from $130 while the Pill will also be $30 less from its original price of $230. Another good news is that placing the Beats Black Pill II in the cart will pull its price down to $188 compared to Amazon's selling price of $199.
