Two units of the SM-C5010 (which is the model number of the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro) were shipped into India for R&D Purpose and Evaluation. The shipped devices are reportedly not for retail sale. While it is by no means an indicator of the phone's exact retail price, Samsung valued the pair at the equivalent of $300 each.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is the successor of the Galaxy C5 smartphone, which was launched this year. It might have a 5.5-inch LCD multi-touch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with Adreno 405 graphics processing unit on board. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage that can be extended up to a maximum of 128GB with the use of a microSD card. It features a 16-megapixel camera at the back with dual LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will be a dual SIM smartphone with 4G connectivity. Other connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi. It is packed with a 3000 mAh Li-Ion (Lithium Ion) battery.

Both the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro belong in the C series smartphone and are expected to be rolled out in September next year.
