The Lenovo Moto M has a slightly curved metal body. It is the first Moto smartphone to feature a fingerprint scanner on the rear. It sports a 5.5-inch full high-definition Super AMOLED display with 2.5D glass laid on top and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The Lenovo Moto M is powered by the latest octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.2 GHz and coupled with Mali T860 MP2 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage that can be further extended up to a maximum of 128 GB.

The Lenovo Moto M features a 16-megapixel camera at the back with phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide angle lens for selfies. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with the Vibe user interface.

The Lenovo Moto M will have Microsoft Office apps along with the pre-installed Skype, Facebook, and Messenger. It is packed with a 3050 mAh non-removable battery that supports fast charging with the provided 5V/2A power adapter, measuring 151.35 x 75.35 x 7.85 mm in dimension.

The Lenovo Moto M supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE for superior data speeds. It is equipped with the dual P2i nanocoating, making it at least splash proof. Other connectivity options are 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GLONASS, and USB Type-C 3.1 port.

It is unclear if the Lenovo Moto M would be released in the international market.
