'Metal Gear Solid 5' DLC News: Patch Update For 'The Phantom Pain' Features New FOB Rewards, Uniforms, Wormhole Generators; Quiet Not Included In Episode 51?

New details for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will feature new DLC updates, as well as Quiet not returning to the rumored Episode 51 of the game.

Konami announced new game details for "Metal Gear Solid 5's" future updates this year as the Japanese video game producer revealed new FOB rewards, weapons, uniforms etc. According to Reddit username Bull_Rider, the future DLC for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will feature Snake having new combat uniforms such as the Tselinoyarsk, Steel Grey and Iron Blue uniforms, as well as new guns like the Arms Material Alpha 114 Riot Pistol, Molotok-68 Anti Material Rifle, and the Wormhole Generator, which will allow the user to warp to the location it was placed upon, WCCFTech reported.

Aside from the uniforms and weapons, there are also new rewards fot FOB missions, although username Bull_Rider did not elaborate the number of rewards in the new DLC. The Reddit user stated that username Lemonguy was able to looked into the rewards before it is filed under a new FOB event within "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain".

Konami recently launched that FOB event called "Mosquito's Legacy" which allow users to learn the tricks and trades in using their stealth abilities during FOB missions. The Sleeping Gas upgrades were useful for gamers to earn their PF's offensives and defensive capabilities via development of the Grade 7 Sleep Grenade.

In other news , its seems that "Metal Gear Solid 5's" fan favorite sniper, Quiet may not be included in the rumored Episode 51 of the game.

Quiet's voice actor Stefanie Joosten told Noobfeed that she did not have any role regarding Episode 51 as she was not notified about it. Joosten also shared her experience working with othe voice actors such as Keifer Sutherland in the game and its director Hideo Kojima as he personally directed and provided the motion capture of all the cutscenes within "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain".

The rumored Episode 51 will focus on Eli/Liquid Snake after his escaped from his father, Big Boss' Mother Base with the help of Tretij Rebenok/Psycho Mantis. The said episode will feature more of Eli and Tretij's relationship as gaming fans were disappointed on how the game had several loose ends in its story, not to mention the lack of exciting boss battles.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One,PS3, Xbox 360 and for the PC platform.
