Lenovo K10 Smartphone With 5-Inch HD Display and 2GB RAM Unveiled in China at $80

The Lenovo K10 smartphone has been unveiled in China at $80 (around Rs. 5400 or 549 yuan).

The Lenovo K10 looks similar to the popular Lenovo K3 Note which was launched in 2015. It was listed in July on the Chinese telecommunications equipment certification center TENAA with the model number K10e70. It comes with a polycarbonate body.

The Lenovo K10 has a 5-inch high-definition IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon chipset. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be further extended using a microSD card slot.

The Lenovo K10 features an 8-megapixel camera at the back with dual tone LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with the Vibe user interface. It also has a loudspeaker placed on the bottom rear as well as microUSB port and 3.5 audio port placed on the top edge.

The Lenovo K10 is a dual SIM dual standby device which supports TD and FDD LTE, making the device usable on all the 4G network carriers. It is packed with a 2300 mAh battery that delivers 12 hours of talk time and lasts up to 200 hours on standby. It measures 7.9-mm thick with a weight of 145 grams.

The Lenovo K10 sports three capacitive touch buttons for back, home, and multi-tasking below the display. There is a 1 GB of RAM variant of the device with 8 GB of internal storage which costs $66 (approximately Rs. 4400 or 450 yuan). The Lenovo K10 smartphone will be available in black, blue, green, pink, red, yellow, and white color.
