With the downfall of Note 7, will Samsung revive with its Note 8?

Following the Samsung Note 7 disaster, the Korean phone maker is positioning itself for a comeback. This comes as a surprise to everyone because with the recall of the Note 7 devices, everyone thought that that would be last of the Note line.

All the trouble that the Note 7 has given the company did not make a dent in Samsung's smartphone market share, which remains at 20 percent.

Samsung has a lot of work to do to fix the reputational damage caused by the Note 7.

Samsung is looking to introduce the Galaxy S8, and Note 8 devices soon. The devices are slated for an early release next year. The S8 is expected to come with upgrades and improvements. The device will sport a curved-edge display which would display notifications.

The Galaxy S8 Plus will be bigger than the regular S8. The S8 Plus may be the biggest smartphone that the company has ever released, coming in at 6.2 inches from edge-to-edge, WHILE the S8 will be 5.7 inches.

All three devices are expected to be released together as Samsung's S and Note lines have caught up with each other.
