The Videocon Ultra50 smartphone has been unveiled in India with the price tag of $135.10 (around Rs. 8990).

The Videocon Ultra50 is the latest midrange smartphone from the mobile manufacturer Videocon. It comes with unlimited access to over 3000 movies and music videos for a year on ErosNow application. The company is also offering 18-month warranty and 15-day replacement warranty.

The Videocon Ultra50 has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a pixel density of 294 ppi. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735V/W chipset clocked at a speed of 1.0 GHz and coupled with Mali T720 GPU.

The Videocon Ultra50 comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded up to a maximum of 128 GB via a microSD card slot. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It packs a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The Videocon Ultra50 supports dual SIM capability. It features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It is also equipped with other regular sensors with standard connectivity options.

The Videocon Ultra50 is pre-loaded with SOS - Be Safe emergency response app. It comes with a fingerprint scanner on the front which is integrated into the home button and supports gesture controls such as the launching of the camera app by drawing a C on the camera. These gestures can be set according to the user's preference.

The Videocon Ultra50 supports 4G LTE connectivity to allow using Jio SIM. It is available for purchase in space gray and golden hue color.
