A jailbreak developer warned iOS users not to update their Apple devices to the latest operating system in order to enjoy a jailbreak.

Developer Luca Todesco (@qwertyuiop) tweeted that iOS 9.2 is harder to jailbreak than iOS 9.1. Thus, the developer advised users not to download the update yet. Todesco said that 9.1 is pretty easy to jailbreak. However, it seems that Apple strengthened the security patches in the iOS making it harder for jailbreak developers to jailbreak the iOS.

Todesco shared a screenshot of Cydia running on iOS 9.2.1 beta, which confirmed the jailbreak release, according to International Business Times. Todesco said in a tweet that the iOS 9.2 jailbreak will not be released along with a screenshot. The developer is not willing to share the jailbreak publicly. Todesco added that he does not want to release his work unless it is "unless bugs are dead".

Meanwhile, iOS 9.2 jailbreak release will definitely happen as developers Pangu and TaiG will be close in jailbreaking the Apple's operating system. There is no word yet as to when the two Chinese developers will roll out the iOS 9.2 jailbreak. While there is no iOS 9.2 jailbreak release date right now, users can simply revert back to iOS 9.1 version.

Moreover, Apple released the latest iOS 9.3 beta to developers. The beta version can be downloaded via links at Apple's developer portal or OTA. The tech company also released a preview of the iOS 9.3 and what it brings to Apple device.

This is probably one of the reasons why the iOS 9.2 jailbreak is still unavailable publicly. Apple is reportedly ironing out bugs that will yield to a jailbreak among other bug fixes. We can expect the public release of iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak only after Apple officially rolls out iOS 9.2.1 and fails to fix the bugs used in the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak.
