Lenovo-owned Motorola has silently launched another Moto series smartphone in China.

The much awaited Moto M smartphone is now available on the popular Chinese e-commerce platform, Tmall, with a price tag of $295 (RMB 199).

Moto M has been listed on Tmall website even before its formal launch in China. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to unveil the Moto M smartphone on Tuesday, November 8, at a special launch event.

Moto M Specifications and Features

The newest Motorola smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch full high definition display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek processor and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The Moto M, which comes with water proof metal body, has 4GB RAM and is available in 32GB and 64GB storage options.

The smartphone offers a powerful 16-megapixel rear camera along with an eight-megapixel camera for selfies. Moto M is the first Moto series phone that supports Dolby sound. It comes with a rand new rear fingerprint sensor as well. It also offers a powerful 3050mAh battery.

Lenovo recently announced that it has sold one million Moto Z smartphones since its launch in June this year. The Moto Z has now become one of the most popular smartphones from the Lenovo. "Thank you x 1,000,000 to everyone that helps us drive innovation forward," Lenovo's chief operating officer Yuanqing Yang said in a statement posted on Twitter.
