Candy Crush Saga now has a 2000th level.
"Candy Crush Saga" has been played up to one trillion times and to celebrate that milestone, its developer has announced the release of a 2000th level - and more.
King, the developer of one of "Candy Crush Saga," released a statement revealing the 2000th level and the future of the Candy Sagas. According to the statement, the 2000th level can be played for a limited period, even if players have not finished playing the first 1,999 levels. But the level will be locked behind the original gameplay of "Candy Crush Saga" after the offer expires.

The 2000th level of "Candy Crush Saga" reveals the future of Candy Kingdom as Tiffi and Yeti, the main characters of the game, will be meeting with a fortune teller at the Bubblegum Bazaar. Players who will be able to play the limited offer will be rewarded with boosters and color bombs.
For sometime, King remained in the indie game wagon, but after the launch of "Candy Crush Saga" in 2012, the company began to seize the mobile game market. Sebastian Knutsson, chief creative head of King, told BBC News that "We didn't expect it to be such a long-lasting title."
In fact, one trillion plays translate to every person in the world playing "Candy Crush Saga" 140 times. On average, about 18 billion game rounds are played each month which is a huge number for any game.
King has currently made about 200 games and the majority are matched-themed puzzles similar to "Candy Crush Saga." Knutsson said that they have many other games in development. However, he acknowledged that it would be nearly impossible to replicate the success of the candy-matching game.
