According to latest reports, Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is rolling out to Motorola Moto G (2015).

Users of Moto G (2015) from Canada and the States have begun getting the latest Marshmallow update, AndroidBeat reported. At present, the Android 6.0 M update is available for Canada and the North America unlocked variant (XT1540).

When the electronics company first announced the arrival of Android Marshmallow on Moto G (2015), it made its own particular changes that its consumers will observe once they upgrade to the Android Marshmallow.

Removal of Assist and Migrate features are the two changes Moto G (third gen) users can expect. Also, several reports suggest that a new option called 'Do Not Disturb' will be available under the 'Sound and Notification' settings tab.

The update brings new fingerprint APIs for developers, Android Pay mobile payment system, Google Now on Tap feature and modifications in app permissions.

Moto G (third generation) users who want to update their device to the Android Marshmallow should open up their Settings app> About phone> System updates. Users need to ensure they have sufficient internal storage free and that the battery is charged adequately because the update weighs 2GB.

Several reports suggest that the Moto G (2015) has got the Android Marshmallow update in India.

According to an International Business Times report, the electronics manufacturer Motorola is planning to include Moto Maxx, Droid Turbo, Moto X (second generation), Moto G ( 2nd Generation), Moto Turbo and the Moto X Play in the next Android 6.0 M update. However, there is no word on the release date of the upgrade.  

Moto X Style phones in India and Brazil have also got the new update. European Moto X users, will get the Marshmallow update in the next few weeks. Users of Moto X (2014 edition) in the United Kingdom, India, Canada and the United States are also included in the upgrade.

Also, 2015 Moto X Style (3rd generation), Moto X Force, 2014 Moto X Pure Edition in the US (2nd generation), Nexus 6 and 2015 Moto G Turbo Edition (3rd Generation) are the devices that will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
