The announcement will reportedly happen 8AM ET on April 19. No reports have surfaced as to what the announcement will reveal. However, with the E3 coming, fans are speculating that the treat will come as a live-action trailer that is more likely to introduce the game's summer instalment, Segment Next reported.

Previously, "Mafia III" has been rumored to have engaged the services of a casting company to look for someone to appear in the game. Before the recent Twitter post, fans were expecting that the trailer will be revealed during E3 2016.

Caballero Casting is looking for someone to be cast in the game.

The one who is hired will star in a live-action of "Mafia III" trailer. If not, however, fans are still expecting for at least a TV spot to go live around September or October this year.

"In our early conversations internally, we talked about one, wanting to reclaim the term 'mafia' to mean more than the Italian mob," said Hangar 13 Head and Creative Director Haden Blackman via Game Informer.

"We also wanted to continue the trend of moving 'Mafia' forward in time, and that's where we set on the 60s, and then '68 specifically. There are lots of reasons we chose that year specifically," the Director added.

The upcoming instalment is said to divert focus away from the conflict between the Mafia and the Italian mobs. Players will take on the role of the lead role Lincoln Clay. The main character is of interracial descent, who is returning to his New Orleans hometown from Vietnam war.

"Mafia III" protagonist Lincoln Clay will reportedly have companions in his fight. He is set to meet three people who will help him bring down the mob leader. There is a woman coming from a Haitian gang, Cassandra, who shares the same disgust for the Italian mob. Also, there is Burke, a member of an Irish Mob and Vito Scalleta of "Mafia II" who is now out of prison.
