The latest details for "Need for Speed Payback" will feature a new gameplay trailer, official release date and no Nintendo Switch version.

Electronic Arts showcased the official gameplay trailer of "Need for Speed Payback" during the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017 press conference revealing a more action-packed "Burnout" styled game mechanics.

In the trailer, players are introduced to the main protagonists/playable characters in "Need for Speed Payback"; Tyler, Jess and Mac as they try to steal a very expensive car from a transport truck guarded by the notorious criminal syndicate simply known as "The House."

Players will control Tyler in the first part of the "Need for Speed Payback" gameplay trailer as the players will need to shake-off "The House's" enforcers in vehicular combat. When players fight the enforcers, cars will flip and reveal the cool car crash mechanics of the sequel, seeing the damage player's will cause during gameplay.

 A cutscene will have Jess, dangerously trying to get the car inside the transport truck. As the truck was about to crash, Jess burst out of the trailer in the stolen House car, prompting players to switch automatically to her. The gameplay trailer ends with Jess being chased by the cops, probably teasing a wild police chase gameplay soon, Gamerant reported.

So far, it looks like "Need for Speed Payback" is moving the "NFS" franchise in the right direction after a couple of disappointing entries in the series in recent years. Hopefully, the final product is as exciting and challenging as EA showing at the E3 2017 press conference.

Aside from the gameplay trailer, the game's executive producer Marcus Nilsson told GameSpot that "Need for Speed Payback" will support the new Xbox Scorpio and the PlayStation 4 Pro consoles.

When asked if the sequel will be featured in the Nintendo Switch version, Nilsson teased the possibility, but it looks like it will not ported anytime soon.

EA announced some pre-order features for players when players decide to buy "Need for Speed Payback" this year as the sequel's Platinum Pack will contain five customise cars.

These include the Nissan 350Z 2008, Chevrolet Camaro SS 1967, Dodge Charger R/T 1969, Ford F-150 Raptor 2016 and Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport 2016.

Gamers can also order the "Deluxe Edition" of the sequel as they can gain access to it three days early on Nov. 7. There will also be a special license plate, discounts, rep bonuses and the five vehicles from the Platinum Car Pack.

If players want to play the game even earlier, they can use EA Access and Origin Access from Nov. 2, clocking up 10 hours of play with the Play First Trial.

"Need for Speed Payback" will launch on Nov. 10 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
