Star Wars will celebrate its 40th Anniversary with a birthday present from Hasbro. On Saturday, February 18, the Toy Fair 2017 witnessed the unveiling of the Legacy Pack and various toys from the movie's faraway galaxy. The kit, dubbed as the best gadget kit, consists of the Darth Vader figure with a paper board background of the recrafted Kenner Early Bird set.

According to Space, Hasbro will be releasing the anniversary toys in two batches. The first batch will be released in April and the second batch will be released in June. Looking closer at the display, it shows that Hasbro's Star Wars Legacy Pack has a reversible background. If displayed on the shelf, one will be brought back in time to the fame of the series, stimulating nostalgic memories of the past.


Likewise, Gizmodo reported that the Star Wars toys that will be released as part of the franchise's anniversary. For the first batch of selling in April, the price for each is pegged at $20. These toys include; Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, and R2-D2. Other toys that will be released at a later date include; Chewbacca, C-3PO, the "Death Squad Commander," a Tusken Raider, a Jawa, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper.

These twelve 3.75-inch replica of the "Star Wars characters are the first part of Hasbro's plan to bring the franchise back to life.
