The Android Nougat update for Sony Xperia Z5 and Z4 might arrive soon. While the release date is still unknown, one clue was discovered, which hinted that that Sony is preparing to release the update.

The Android Nougat update for the Sony Xperia Z5 and Z4 has received certification, Xperia Blog reported. The certification came from PTCRB, which is a wireless device certification forum in North America.

The build number 32.3.A.0.372 was spotted as an upgrade to the 32.2.A.5.11 build. The updated build could be a clue that the Android Nougat update for the Sony Xperia Z5 and Z4 will be arriving soon.

The Android Nougat has been around for a while, but many Android users are still waiting to get their hands on the latest operating system. Earlier this week, one major Android Nougat update was made available after a long wait.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users can now enjoy the latest Android OS, Yahoo reported. Users under the Nougat beta program were the first to download the update but was also made available for normal users.

The Android Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, which is around 215 MB in size, will bring a significant list of improvements. Some of the features that were confirmed to arrive are a new user interface and a new multi-window option, which allows user to utilize two applications simultaneously.

How to get the Android Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge

To update their devices to Android Nougat, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users should choose to download the file after receiving a notification. After downloading, the device will be updated in several minutes. Users will then be allowed to customize their smartphones to their liking.

However, it is worth noting that the update for the latest Samsung flagship smartphones is the Android 7.0 Nougat, not the 7.1.1 that was released in December. This means that the Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will not have the latest security patch, but the company is expected to release that update soon.
