(Photo : Facebook) The Samsung Galaxy S series has sold more than 177 million units, with Samsung Galaxy S selling over 25 million units, Samsung Galaxy S II selling over 40 million units, Samsung Galaxy S III selling over 60 million units, Samsung Galaxy S4 selling over 40 million units and finally over 12 million units of the Samsung Galaxy S5 were sold during its first three months of availability.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 leaks have been taking headlines in the recent months. The most recent leaks are from the designer and animator Jermaine Smit.

Smit's review this time went back to the previous Samsung Galaxy S7, addressing most of the details. The smartphone's rear portion is curved towards the edges on the sides, just like Samsung Galaxy Note 5 for an easier handling. The upcoming device's front glass is 2.5D with larger radius to manifest On Leaks' recently publicized details, GSM Arena reported.

The artist designer also vouched 130 hours' worth of video, though this still has to be verified when the device is finally out in the market.

Earlier rumors suggested other details on the specs of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge devices like its similarities with its predecessors. The said leak originated from China mentioning that the new Samsung handsets will be identical in terms of hardware, but will vary in terms of battery size and screen, Phone Arena reported.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will run on either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset or the Exynos 8 Octa 8890 one. Both will reportedly feature a RAM of 4GB backed up by either 32 or 64GB built-in storage capacity, upgradeable through microSD. Also, the devices are said to be expandable up to 200GB storage with a 12MP f/1.7 lens built in the main camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is presumed to feature a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a display resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a battery set with 3,000 mAh power. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S7 edge version is expected to feature a much larger battery with 3,600 mAh, and a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a curved style.

Previous reports, on the other hand, revealed that the long-rumored Samsung Galaxy S7 is going to be the company's major product announcement, which is said to happen either in the first or second quarter of the year.

All information is deemed speculations until the South Korea based tech company releases its device for public consumption. Samsung has not released any information about the handset' price, release date, and specs.
