Meizu M3 Max With 6-Inch FHD Display and 3GB RAM Launched in China, to hit the Shelves on Sept. 15

The Meizu M3 Max smartphone has been officially launched in China for $255 (1699 yuan or around Rs. 16,900) and would go on sale starting Sept. 15.

According to Phone Radar, the M3 Max looks sturdy with the aluminum build unibody design. It has a 6-inch IPS full high-definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.8 GHz.

The M3 Max comes with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot. It features a 13-megapixel IMX258 camera at the back with a f/2.2 aperture and phase detection autofocus. It also features a 5-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture on the front.

The M3 Max is packed with a large 4100 mAh battery that can last for up to 11 hours of usage. It comes with a 12V/2A power adapter that can be charged to 45 percent in just 30 minutes. It supports a home button with a fingerprint scanner at the back. It also supports AliPay mobile payment.

The M3 Max runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Flyme 5.2 operating system with Mali T860 GPU, GSM Arena reported. It measures 163.4 x 81.6 x 7.94 mm with a weight of 189 grams. Its connectivity options are Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and 5GHz, microUSB 2.0 port, GPS, GLONASS, 4G VoLTE, and Bluetooth 4.1 LE.

There is no information from Meizu about when the M3 Max would be available in other market. However, pre-orders for the device would start on Sept. 12. The smartphone would be available in four colors; gray, rose gold, silver, and champagne gold.
