Meizu U10 and U20 Smartphones With YunOS, Fingerprint Censor Introduced in China

(Photo : Twitter/MEIZU) Meizu has launched the Meizu U10 and Meizu U20 in China.

Meizu has introduced its two latest budget smartphones - Meizu U10 and Meizu U20 - for the Chinese market.

Meizu' new 'U' series smartphones, which come with 4G LTE and fingerprint censors, will go on sale soon. The Meizu U10 and Meizu U20 would be available in China on September 18 and August 28 respectively. However, the Chinese giant has not disclosed releases dates for the devices in other countries.

The Meizu U10 and Meizu U20 smartphones will be available in white, black, gold and rose gold colors. The devices have a curved glass panel with a fingerprint sensor embedded on the mTouch v2.1 home screen.

Meizu U20 Specifications

The Meizu U20 runs on Alibaba's YunOS and has a 5.5-inch full high definition display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor and has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It features a 3260mAh battery. The budget smartphone comes in 16GB and 32GB storage variants. The 16GB Meizu U20 model will cost $165 while 32GB Meizu U20 model will be priced at $195.

Meizu U10 Specifications

Meizu U10, which has almost same specifications as the U20, comes with a smaller 5-inch display. It is equipped with a 5MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera and has a 2760mAh battery. It is also powered by an octa-core processor and has 2GB RAM. It is also available in 16GB and 32GB variants. The 16GB variant of the Meizu U10 device is priced at $150 while the 32 GB variant of the budget smartphone will be available at $180.
